Ashoka Presents: Social Entrepreneurs—The Next Generation
Speaker: Marina Kim, Director of University Programs
Social Entrepreneurship is becoming a hot topic—in the media, in the philanthropic sector, in universities, in international development circles. Everyone is talking about social entrepreneurs and the power of social entrepreneurship to solve complex social problems. But what does it really mean for you? How does an entrepreneur think? What might a career in Social Entrepreneurship really look like?
Marina Kim ( mkim@ashoka.org ), the Director of University Programs at Ashoka is hosting an interactive workshop about social entrepreneurship and career opportunities in the organization. Please join us to learn more about our Ashoka Fellows, participate in simulations of “entrepreneurial challenges” faced by social entrepreneurs, and hear about Ashoka’s unique vision of being a home for entrepreneurs.
